We Indians
always dream about when this country will become super power? When we are going
to stand up and make the world to look at us rather than look down. I think
this is the feeling running through every Indian at some point or the other.
Government
after government comes with number of initiative to achieve the ambitions and
aspirations of people, but they always fall short! We know that if a government makes a plan to
give a pot of water by the time it reaches or if its implemented, people will
get a drop of water. There are so many leakages in the pot! “It Happens only in
India !”
If you ask
any Indian what we are working on they say “India super power in 2020!” it may
give us the feeling of pride, just wait its only a feeling not the reality! Our
former president Hon.Dr.A.P.J.Adul Kalam Sir dream of India becoming
super power in 2020, is it reality? Is the governments are working towards that?
Does every Indian is aware of this? Is he pumped up to contribute uplift the
country? The answer is well with in your reach!
If our
youth’s are motivated then how come we have more cinema theatre’s, TV channels,
pubs, no of crimes committed by youth’s etc???
Instead of
working towards super power, government should work for the true meaning, in a
broader perspective that is instead of building missiles and warships, every
Indian must be provided with basic needs.
People’s basic needs are not that great, it just means access to food, clean water, education and social justice.
One can
achieve the target or be successful only if he understands his strengths and
weaknesses! I think India
has much strength rather weakness, but it’s the responsibility of the govt to
tap the strength and transform it so that this country will be a prosperous, peaceful
and strong nation. The greatest strength our country lies in youth population;
if we can tap the potentials of the youth with right initiative, this country
can be transformed! Many think population is a greatest disadvantage for this
country to grow, but I don’t think many economists will agree with me, it is open
sword, its have you handle, will determine the outcome.
We know the
history of some of the successful countries which has risen from dust. The
classic example is insurgence Japan, the determination, dedication, hard work,
commitment of Japanese people and its govt. The mutual understanding made that country
one of the strong economic market in Asia
after the disastrous World War II. Even Singapore though it’s tiny, the
model is very open for anyone to take the case study for extraordinary govt
policies to bring in the greatest revolution.
We depend
on gulf countries for our oil requirement, but we failed understand our
strength! Oil will be depleted one day not the Strength of the soil, in our
Agricultural fields! Our country’s climate is best suited for farming, but we
failed to take best use of it. World’s Food security is an important issue, if
the govt realizes and implements some strong policy measures; we can play great
trump card to the world’s food security and really show what super power really
means?
I don’t want this country to become an Only industrialized one, rather it can go green. It can offer the world a new green model which could be implemented successfully. We need green industrialization. We can “green”rialize to have software industry, health, tourism, biotechnology, R&D etc. which we should realize!!!
Tamilnadu
and Andhra are good for Paddy, Kerala is for species, Karnataka is for Coffee,
Uttar Pradesh is for Sugar, Punjab for Wheat and Basmati, Gujarat is for Cotton,
Assam
is for Tea. Government should implement revised policies to help the agricultural sector, so that green
revolution becomes a reality !
Government
should use advanced technologies to link the rivers, so that water resources
are properly utilized, which will bring in necessary green revolution.
Bring in
the policy decision to use technology in every sphere of life, so that it
eliminates the corruption, administrative defects and lack of awareness,
coordination between govt and people!
Corruption is like cancer which is so small can destruct entire system! Initiative like Right to information Act (RTI) is a small step towards a thousand mile journey.
I would
like to see the ultra modern city with full of green scrappers in the middle of
the green environment (middle of forest, middle of the farming field)! Every
Community with access to water, schools, hospitals. Along with software industry,
biotechnology, Education, Health and General Tourism, relevant R& D depts.!
We are
creating the life for the future! I feel that’s when we become super power, not
by showing or telling, it’s through self satisfaction. It is not about what
others think of us; rather it is what we think about ourselves!
1. Integration
of Rivers (Linking the National rivers through State Rivers, constructing no of
dams and check dams, so that it will solve the water crisis as well as support
the agriculture)
2.
E-Government (Complete transparency in every sphere of public Governance.
Taxes, Public distribution system, administration, access to complete
information in every department)
3. Bring in
Green Revolution (Use Advanced technologies and support system for agricultural
sector)
4.
Restructuring Educational Sector (Instead of generating Degree holders creating
contributing members to the society by bringing in necessary changes at the
policy)
5. Create
Awareness in every sphere of life. (It is responsibility of the government to
educate the public about the Mission ,
Vision, Goal and Objectives for successful implementation of every programme)
Perfection
is not the end…it’s the beginning…..
Becoming
super power is not end itself….Its just beginning for glorious future... ……hope
to see the smile and happiness in every Indians face, Jai Hind!
